Things I’m thankful for today:
- Air to breath.
- A nose to warm the air I breath—did you know your nose does that? Somehow, the blood flowing through your nose (I think it’s the blood…) warms the air, so your lungs don’t get burned like they do when you breathe through your mouth on a cold, frosty morning. It’s fascinating to study!
- A very warm day.
- The ability to write.
- Fellowship with church family.
- Warm cups of tea.
- Brothers who love to pass out tracts.
Today’s been very full, but I’m happy with that. We went to church this morning, and heard some very good thoughts. There were some from Isaiah about how we are chosen by God (chapter 45, I believe). Someone else shared from Philippians and Judges. I really enjoyed the service.
Then this afternoon, we had a shared lunch and one of the sisters made tea or coffee for all the grownups who wanted it. The one who usually makes it was not there, so she volunteered. Since tea is a traditional Kiwi thing, I wasn’t really surprised to see that she made it. Then later this afternoon, Dad and the boys spent a while passing out tracts—they love to do that! :) I also spent a little while stamping them with our church’s name and email address.
We got home around five, after a very warm (which was lovely!) and blessing day. I finally got to writing about 7 o’clock, and this evening got my total up to 25,031 words in total tonight—half of the way! I think I’m just under half-way through what I planned, but this next part might go quicker than I’m expecting, I don’t know. It will be interesting to see how everything pans out.
Writing went very well today, although it felt like I was copying somewhat from what I have already written perhaps, so I might end up cutting it. For now, I’ll leave it in. :) I’m working tomorrow afternoon, Lord willing, so I don’t know how much I’ll be able to write tomorrow. I guess I’m kinda making up for tomorrow today. :)
Well, I should probably head to bed. It’s been a long day, and I’m tired.

heeehee i know the 'I think I'm repeating myself ' scene ... the problem with me is that I have to make time pass which is proving interesting :\
ReplyDeleteYeah. Repeating isn't that fun, but just today I was looking over what I wrote near the beginning and realising how much I actually wrote--you'd think you couldn't forget in less than 11 days!! It was like, "Wow, that was really good!"
DeleteI've got about half a year passing in the novel. So far, I've only covered about four weeks of it, but I know once I get past the part I'm writing at the moment I'll probably skip quite a few months. :)
