Blessings that start with the letter “R”.
- Rainbows.
- Remembering. I love remembering the past, and re-living it. :)
- Reading.
- Recipes.
- Rhubarb—I love all the delicious sweet ’n sour things we can make with it! I think it has to be my favourite dessert “fruit” (it’s really a vegetable, though, I believe)1.
- Rubber—you find it all over the place, and I’m so thankful that we can use it for things like tyres and gum boots and other assorted things!
- Red. Especially deep, almost purple-y red. I like dark ruby red and dark maroon. I once figured out that my three favourite colours are violet, blue violet, and red violet. :)
Writing’s gone well today. I didn’t really have any writer’s block or writer’s not, so I’m thankful for that. I know approximately what I’ll write tomorrow, so that’s good. :) Hopefully tomorrow will go well. :)
As far as our housing situation goes: We have two options at the moment. One’s in town with 8 acres of land, and the other’s out in the country somewhere. We’re all leaning toward the one in the country, even though it might need a lot of work. Lord willing, we’ll go look at that tomorrow at 10:00. I’d sort-of like to live in the town house because it’s so close to town, but that also has some pretty heavy negative sides as well.
Basically, we’re just waiting and praying that God will direct us to the right place. :)

1On the subject, Wikipedia says:
“Rhubarb is usually considered a vegetable. In the United States, however, a New York court decided in 1947 that since it was used in the United States as a fruit, it counted as a fruit for the purposes of regulations and duties. A side effect was a reduction on imported rhubarb tariffs, as tariffs were higher for vegetables than fruits.”
I didn’t know that! Neat. :)
Hope all goes well with you getting a house! keep us updated.
