Day 11

Today, I’m thankful for:

  1. The fact that there are other procrastinators in the world beside me.
  2. Classical stories. I enjoy hearing all kinds of classical things, I guess. :)
  3. Pictures. Little whispers of the past.
  4. Thick curtains. They block out some of the cold air that tries to seep into the house.
  5. Warm clothing.
  6. Appliances. Like a toaster oven, coffee grinder, and stick blender. They make jobs SO much faster!
  7. The song “There were Ninety and Nine”. I’d have to say—that’s among my very top favourites of all songs. And if you know me, then that’s pretty high. :) I just realised this evening that it’s always been one of my top favourites—even when I was 7 or 8.

I didn’t write much today—just 897 words. And I’m okay with that. I pumped out 3,031 yesterday, and today I just didn’t have/take enough time to write. So I’m sitting at 25,928 at the moment. And that’s okay. I’m ahead of schedule, and missing writing more really won’t hurt me that much although I’d like to keep going at the pace I was.

I could probably get to work and write another 1-2,000 tonight, but I don’t think I’ll bother. I think tonight I’ll try to get to bed a little earlier. I’m probably working tomorrow again in the vineyard, so I need to be able to get up early and get school out of the way before breakfast.
