(Ahem. 'Scuse me for not posting this sooner. It probably doesn't matter, though, since no-one seems to be reading it.)
--------------------------------------
Today was nice and warm again. Which was nice :)! School went really well.

What I did for school today:

  1. Recited Proverbs 31:21
  2. Read Bible
  3. Read Antiquities of the Jews
  4. Read Dear Princess
  5. Read Gladys Aylward
  6. Read 3 chapters of Elsie Dinsmore (free online!), crying my way through the story. A must read for any girl/woman (and I've only read 3 chapters!)
  7. Wrote Emerald for Gems/Minerals booklet
Not much, but some. This afternoon, the boys and Dad trimmed the hedge (the part that wasn't done yesterday) while Mum read some very interesting books. She read Freedom Train, the story of Harriet Tubman by Dorothy Sterling; William Wilberforce (God's Politician) by John Holzmann; and my most favourite – Moccasin Trail, by Eloise Jarvis McGraw. A story about early pioneers with an interesting slant – the main character ran away from home and ended up in a Crow village! This book tells how the main character, Jim, comes back to his brothers and sister in their time of need, and how he learns to be a white man again. Fascinating reading for anybody!

Later this afternoon, we children played bad mitten. I won a couple of times, and Simon did to. I think Seth won once. It was a lot of fun.

All for now!
Esther
