School went well this morning. While we were doing family worship right after breakfast, we heard gunshots! Later, there was a knock on the door – our landlord's son had shot some Paradise ducks, and was wondering if we wanted any? Did we? YUM! We butchered them later. That'll be one meal for our family!
What I did for school today:
- Did maths, failed miserably on algebra. It is fun, though, so I'm looking forward to being able to do more tomorrow.
- Did sentence diagramming, and passed.
- Wrote Metals, Gems, and Minerals in the Tabernacle
- Figured out where the Major Mining Areas in New Zealand are
- Read Bible, the BEST book in the world!
- Read Dear Princess, I HIGHLY recommend this book!
- Read Antiquities of the Jews
- Read Gladys Aylward, one more day on that!
- Read Elsie Dinsmore, crying my way through the one chapter I read. Her story is so...so inspiring, so...I don't know, you'll just have to read it. IT'S JUST GREAT!
- Wrote The Age of the Earth
- Read a little in Dinosaurs by Design, very interesting!
- Memorized Proverbs 31:22
Esther
