My Family--Unique and Wonderful

I have a wonderful family. My brothers let me do the cooking, and my parents let us sleep outside in the tent in the fall. My family is also unique. We do funny stuff--like pick apples off trees rather than picking apples out of a supermarket. We also do funny things like eating leaves when we have the choice of eating plums (no wait...that's just my little brother.  I forgot). We do other funny things like picking cherries along HWY 1 (which, if you didn't know, is the main north/south road on this side o' the southern alps). We raise goats and eat 'em because they don't do any good any other way. We walk on barrels and play games on hay bales because that's the best way to get your exercise. We squat in the middle of a cloud of smoke to cook sausages because we like the out-door-cooked flavor. We drive around on a river bed because that's the only place you can find a lot of fun. We get close to seals so we can smell their "skunk smell". We race on bikes down the road because that's the only place you can race on. Last but not least, we move half way around the world so we can share the gospel with civilized westerners. Yeah, my family is wonderful.

Hello-o-o, Mr. Seal!

Picking cherries by HWY 1.

Yum, yum, yum...YUCK!

James, Mum, and Dad having a good time together.

A misty morning: cooking sausages over an open fire (and eating them for breakfast!).

Thank you, God for my wonderful family.
I LOVE MY FAMILY!
