MONDAY:
No school, except for math. We had peaches, beans, peppers, and tomatoes to bottle and freeze. Mum got the peppers diced and in the freezer with James' help while we older children did math. Then we all worked on the peaches once math lessons were done, and got them finished and in jars by about 11:30. Then Mum read All Sail Set while we children worked on beans. We had a milk pail full to be snapped, and got them done and in jars by lunch time. This afternoon, we hit on the tomatoes, and got twenty kilos washed, blanched, peeled, sliced, put in jars, smooshed, and processed. Its been a good day.
TUESDAY:
We got the other 2 (10 kg each) boxes of tomatoes processed in about an hour this morning (well, the actual canning took longer, but from washing to packing took about an hour). All we did as far as school was maths (which I'm COMPLETELY happy with!!!!).
WEDNESDAY:
Today was nice and warm and sunny. School went well. What I did for school today:
- Math, got 100% (finally!)
- Read Josephus
- Read Bible
- Read Elsie's Womanhood
- Wrote Agate
- Worked in Codecademy (fun!)
It was a good day. (yeah, I'm not very inspired...) Now I'm off to bed.

THURSDAY:
When I woke up this morning, there was a strong nor-westerly blowing. It warmed up fast once the sun was up, and then about mid-morning a cold southerly came through. It's been drizzling off and on since. We've gotten 1.78 mm of rain so far. Not much, but the goats were crying about it. I have the opinion now that goats aren't happy if they can't find something to cry about. School went well. What I did for school today:
- Math (got 12 right out of 15)
- Diagramming (forgot to check)
- Finished Creation Chart
- Studied Job 37-38
- Studied Genesis 1 & 2
Altogether, today was a good day.
