Today school went better. I got quite a bit more done (compared to yesterday!). It was warmish – not cold, but definitely not hot. The excitement of the morning was when our maths books arrived! After waiting for almost 2 months, they got here! (We found out when it got here that it went through Belgium. Why there, of all places?! That's the slowest route possible!)

What I did for school today:
  1. Recited Proverbs 31:20
  2. Read Bible
  3. Read Dear Princess
  4. Read Gladys Aylward
  5. Wrote A slight mix-up, about the Creation/Evolution debate, and how it got into court several times.
  6. Wrote Rubies for Gems/Minerals booklet
  7. Did one page in a new school book, “Sentence Diagramming”. It's supposed to help me with my grammar, and I think it is (and will) a little…
  8. Did one lesson of maths, all about “integer computation”. I failed. MISERABLY. So, tomorrow, I'll work even harder on it, and try to pass!
  9. Watched our hedge being mowed (life skills????)
  10. Researched what the best brand/type of printer is (we need a new one), and still haven't had many results. So I'll work on it tomorrow. (life skills)
  11. … and I could've done a lot more! (Oh. Whoops. That wasn't one.)
Oh... and I also listened to a story about Abraham Lincoln today. Does that count as something? Maybe history???

Otherwise...today was a good day, Dad was home!
