Other than weather, I got a lot of my school done. (Well, maybe I should say, almost all done; I only have one thing that I haven't done!)
First thing this morning I posted yesterday's school journal on my blog, then proceeded onto other things. Since I have to use the computer in between the boys' use, I have to fit my schedule around that. It took me most of the morning to write my "Job Description", but i guess part of that time was spent playing on the computer (naughty me!).
So, what I did for FAR (excluding reading):
- Started memorizing Proverbs 31:10-31 (worked on vs. 10)
- Studied Purim a little, found it to be quite a wonderful Jewish holiday! (NOT because Queen Esther is a main character, but because of the way God worked it all out for good. I guess it is sorta neat, though, that Esther is the main character... :))
- Wrote a "Motherhood" Job Description
- Made a collage of a Mother's different jobs
Reading for learning:
- Bible, Leviticus 12-14, Matthew 17, and Galatians 1.
- A couple pages of Beautiful Girlhood
- 4 pages of Antiquities of the Jews, by Josephus
Life Skills:
- Froze a batch of quartered apricots, for smoothies, ice cream, etc.
- Milked (which I do twice a day, every day)
