Overall Responsibility:
Supervise all areas of the home, the
local school, the local bank, the home office, the local court, the
local councillor's office, the local library, the local games room,
the local food preservation plant, the maintenance shop, and the
local supermarket.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Be able to act as teacher and principle
- Be able to save money and pay people
- Be able to act as judge, lawyer, and jury
- Be able to give counselling while standing on your head (in frustration)
- Be able to act as librarian
- Be able to be secretary and accountant at the same time
- Be able to serve as umpire, arbitrator, referee, and moderator of the game (all the time acting as a player, too)
- Be able to bottle fruit while in the middle of making jam, milking a cow, and preparing tea
- Be able to fix anything on an instant's notice
- Be able to substitute just about anything if you don't have the right ingredients
- Be able to supply a meal off the shelves with less than an hour's notice

- Good organizational skills
- Needs to be trustworthy
- Have the ability to relate with people
- Be able to plunge into anything with both hands forward.
- Is a frugal buyer
- Is a gardener
- Is able to preserve food
- Is able to be up at all hours
- Has a wide range of cooking skills
- Has a strong build, is healthy
- Is able to make her own income
- Is ready for any emergency
- Is able to make anything from scratch
- Can freely help the poor
- Is able to make warm clothing for herself and everyone around her
- Is able to make clothing fit for kings
- Is so well organized that her husband doesn't have to worry about staying at home to keep everything under control
- Makes more than her family can use, and sells it for a profit
- Never bemoans things that have gone wrong, instead makes it turn out well
- Thinks about her words before she says it, and what she does say is kindness itself
- Takes her responsibilities literally, and is never lazy
- Is worthy to be blessed by everyone around her
- Is virtuous
- Follows the LORD with her whole heart
- The things she does make people praise her.

To me, this list is impossible to complete. But I guess, through Christ it can happen! I don't have to worry about it yet. I just need to learn how to do it now.
