Mum made him a chain about two weeks ago out of construction paper, but either the paper or the tape or both didn't work together, so the chain was coming apart. We eventually had to throw it away.

Joe will be starting preschool this year, and as can be expected he's really excited about it!

Since we threw the old one away, when we're talking about school he's says a little sadly, "I can't do school. I don't have a chain!" So I finally decided to make one so he could do school.
It's very simple to make--and fun, too!

I put the dates on so us older ones would be able to keep him on track better.

Cutting today's off...

There! Happy once again.
- This morning, I tried to stick to the new (and stricter!) schedule I've forced upon myself. (Maybe now I can be making wiser use of my time? We'll see.)
- One of my aunts (not sure which one, but I'm sure thankful to whoever it is!) is going to make a dress for me to wear at the wedding--that's the main reason we're going to the States. So this morning, I made a copy of my dress pattern to send there so they can use it. I got it in the mailbox ready to go just five minutes before the mailwoman came past! Phew! (Actually, I made two copies--we've altered the pattern a little, so I made a copy for myself as well as one for the States.)
- This afternoon? Hmm...I haven't done much this afternoon. Mum has worked on bottling whole plums and juicing other plums all day. I'm amazed at her endurance. She's bottled 26 litre jars and 10 1¾-litre jars, not to mention the 7 pots full of plums she's cooked for juice since last night! She's one busy lady!
Okay, I'd better go finish the video for tomorrow's post--it's almost done, and in the "editing" stage right now. I'll get Mum to preview it, and maybe upload it yet tonight--we'll see how the timing works out.
Hasta luego!
(Until later!)
