The Best Christmas Pageant Ever {book review}

Today, I finished reading this book. It was really interesting, and thought provoking. It's a fairly short story, and an easy read.

The Best Christmas Pageant EverThe Best Christmas Pageant Ever by Barbara Robinson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is a wonderful thought-provoking book about Christmas. You usually don't think about Herod being so bad he should have had a good beating or that the Wise Men are a bunch of dirty spies. That's how the Herdmans thought about it, though! They had never heard what made Christmas so special--all they knew was that it was the day Jesus (whoever that was!) was born.

For the people of the town, the worst children in the world's history acted out the best Christmas pageant ever--and taught everyone a lesson about accepting people as they are.

This makes 1 book read out of the 15 I wanted to read this year.

Okay, then! I'll be back a little later with Part 2 of our family's 2012 Christmas! :)
