Post-It-Note Thoughts (more like, photo journal)

Yesterday, we took a short trip to the ocean (we were there in total about an hour).  I didn't have enough time, though, to get the pictures up last night, so had to finish this morning! Enjoy!

This morning, Nate crawled his way under the couch. He
wasn't very happy about the situation, though.

On the way!

Notice the pond up on the right? It's a result of all the rain
we've had--most of the time, it isn't there.

Some of the hills were hazy...beautiful!

The ocean is just a step away!

Ahh...first glance. BEAUTIFUL Pacific!

The boys beginning to explore (James and Simon at lead).

Looking south. Beautiful! The haze made it all the more pretty.

The "Adventurers"

A sea squirt

A pool of fresh water (from the rain) in a charred log that was washed up.

A beautiful, cluttered beach.

Mum and Joe (Joe had to wear my extra jersey
because he had forgotten his!)

Back the path

And then a shout arose...."I SEE A SEAL!!!" (don't worry;
it was dead and must have washed up)

Reaching for the skies... Reaching for Jesus.

The net was a great attraction.

Trying to find our balance...

There! Almost perfect!

Joe--don't you love his look?

Nate--CUTE!!!!

On our way home, we went through the Domain, where all the daffodils
are out!

Beautiful hills!

I love cloud formations!!!

And then, just at sunset...

Joe enjoys jumping on the trampoline.

  2. Yes, usually when I get the camera out to take pictures I end up with a lot. I don't know why!

Oh, the ocean is fun! At all times, but especially when there isn't a very cold wind (which there is most of the time).

  9. Fun to see all the pictures! I'm glad you showed a sea squirt--I'd never heard of that before. That big net at the playground is fairly cool, too. :)
