Bible Study Notes

I've been debating over sharing this with you or not. I guess I will.
Just yesterday, (once again!) I started taking notes from my Bible study. It was a wonderful time with my Father! I've decided to share my thoughts with you.
Be blessed!

Bible Reading Today:
Jeremiah 24-26

The Highlight That Stood Out To Me:
                 Jeremiah 25:10:
Moreover I will take from them the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones, and the light of the candle.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
What a sobering thought! No gladness, no food, no light. There's only one thing that describes such misery--D.E.A.T.H. AND this happens after what? After F.O.R.S.A.K.I.N.G. G.O.D. Nothing else! Only forgetting that He was the One, He was the Saviour, He was the King! What a terrible fate. And that's where I see this world headed today. D.E.A.T.H.
  1. No gladness. No voice of the bridegroom and bride. EXACTLY what we're seeing today--men and women just shacking up with each other. Disregarding marriage vows. How sad! How awfully sad! And there isn't gladness--go look at the faces of those people out there. PURE MISERY. You can't stand being with them--mixing with them! They're too sad! Oh, how I long to help. Oh, LORD, help me to accomplish this goal!
  2. No sound of millstones. There's only one thing that this means--when the millstones are quiet, that means that there isn't food to grind. No food equals no people. See the connection?
  3. No light of the candle. If the candle doesn't burn, there's no light to appear. No light means darkness. N.O. L.I.G.H.T., basically!
IN CONCLUSION: The above verse is showing a terrible thing. No noise (though, I'll have to admit; we could stand with a little less of THAT!), no food, no light. The verse is describing something I don't even like to think about. But here it is: H.E.L.L. Is that clear enough? Isn't God speaking enough? THAT'S where you're headed if you turn from Him! What a terrifying thing. Praise the Lord, I'll never be there. I'M SAVED!!!!!!!!
