My Family

My family has many gifts. Let me share them with you: (oh, yes...and by the way, this is for the August Joy Dare thingy)

DAD--hard worker, loving parent, a very loyal and sincere christian.

MOM--hard worker, wonderful cook, has a servant's heart, is very patient, kind, and a true follower of Christ. My role model.

ME--I'll skip. That's for you to fill.

SETH--anything relating to "farm", he's in it. Loves working with cows. Very strong (he has great strength), can think something through, is a good follower. Also likes to eat. When he was younger, one of his nick-names was "Rabbit"--he loved carrots!

SIMON--a natural leader, he can get all the boys to follow him. Very much an inventor (yup, that's him! click on the link to read about him. :D). He also is a good "looker", and can find almost anything that's lost.

ELIJAH--an avid reader. Is mostly an "in-the-house" boy. Very studious. Thinks a lot.

JAMES--also a leader, but since he's younger than Simon he is kind-of "second-in-command". VERY fast on his feet. He does very good at sticking to a job and getting it done.

JOE--used-to-be-family-baby, now family-just-next-to-baby. He's very excited about life, loves animals, and sometimes gets himself in scrapes. He loves doing "school" (even though he's still only two--turning three in September), and has a very happy personality.

NATHAN--baby of the family--only four months old! Is happy most of the time, is trying  to learn to crawl, and LOVES eating books. Funny baby! Toddles around in his walker, and tries to generally get in trouble.

My Wonderful Family!
Left-right: Esther, Seth, Joe, Emma (Mum), Nathan, Gayle (Dad), James, Elijah and Simon.
Yes...that's my family! And I love every single one of them!

  1. Esther,
What a beautiful blog! I am so pleased to see another young lady following the Lord. My daughter just turned 12 & I have 3 sons. It must be fun at home with all those boys!
By the way, you had entered my Lavender essential oil contest over at Far Above Rubies & I came to visit you! It looks as though we have many of the same sisters in the Lord. I subscribed to your blog posts via email.
Gods blessings on you & your family!
    Bye for now!
