Special photo tutorial, just for a friend:

Hi, Tiffy! This is a special tutorial just for you. So, here's how to insert a link (click on the pictures to see them bigger):

1. Write whatever text you want to add the link to, for example: "to view the post, click here." Highlight the text, and look for this symbol (this is what it looks like in most places):  in blogger, it looks like this: 

2. Click on the "link button", and then you'll have a screen something like this:

3. Write or paste the web address into the "To what URL should this link go?", for example, http://joyful-maiden.blogspot.co.nz/2012/06/i-need-your-help.html. Make sure there is the "http://" bit in front of it--otherwise, it won't work:

4. Click "OK". That should be all you need to do! You should have text with a line under it, like this:
