Snow? In New Zealand?

Aye, aye, mates! It really is true! We actually had S.N.O.W. This is just the first time so far this year, (and who knows if it will be the last, last year we had two snowfalls!) and I really can't say I'm happy to see it go. But...I guess that's New Zealand for you, and I'm glad there wasn't any snow on our way to church this morning. It was really, really beautiful!

Here's a video of snow in Arthur's Pass (Wonder where that is? Look at this map:)

I've been through there once, it was beautiful!

And the video (yes, I will get to it!):

Here are a few pictures from our place (more later if I have time):
The snow was really heavy, and weighted down everything!

I love my beggars! Usually, they look pure white, but against
the snow Saanens don't have a chance.
(I can smell a story brewing...)

Sunrise--second day of snow. Beautiful!

A lot of trees lost branches. The snow was
almost rain!

Beautiful!

The poor garden! (Even though the snow is off now, the
silver beet still isn't happy)

Don't you love how snow can hide a multitude of ugly things?
Reminds me of how Jesus' blood makes me white as snow.
PRAISE THE LORD!

All for now!
