My Trip to the States—Part 5

Have you missed any so far—Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, or Part 4?
Here’s the wedding! :) Aunt Rebecca (Mum’s sister) and Uncle Terrill were married on the 6th of April.
 Love this picture. :)

  With uncle Terrill’s parents.

I watched the picture-taking for a while, and also went down to look at the flower girls getting ready. :)

 With bridesmaids and groomsmen.

All of our family who were there!

Our side, with siblings and their spouses.

The children (mostly under-fives) started going a little crazy with all the pictures after a while, so Aunt Ashley organized a game.

Simon took care of our cute cousin. :)

 With siblings.

Nathan with another of our cousins—wonder what they were looking at? It must have been fascinating!

With all the nieces and nephews.

With flower girls and escort. :)

With guest book attendants. (I’m on the far left)

With bridesmaids, groomsmen, flower girls, and escort.

 The parents.

And the waiting begins! :) About two hundred people came all together.

After the wedding, while the greeting line was still going on, I went down to where the reception was to be held to snap a few pictures before everyone started arriving. :)

It turned out beautiful—well worth all the work!

 One of the tables.

 Bridal table.

 Handsome uncle—Mum’s oldest brother.

This has to be my most favourite picture of the day. Aren’t they gorgeous together? :)

That evening, everyone relaxed. Uncle Tim, Mum’s youngest brother, pulled out the funniest hat! It gave us a good laugh. He definitely has a sense of humour!

That evening was also young folks, so I went—and watched my first volley-ball game ever! That was fun! :) There were quite a few young folks there, so it was good to get to know some of them again.

Ahh…almost done! Just one more week. :)

  1. I liked this post Esther! The wedding (and your dress) was beautiful). By the way....is your uncle German Baptist Baptist? Just wondering.

  2. Thanks, Abigail. :)

No, he isn't German Baptist. He's Mennonite. I can't remember exactly what kind, but I do know that he's Mennonite. :)
