Today was nice and warm—perfect drying weather! We got one load of laundry done, which caught us up.
School (which consisted of just one math lesson) went well. We were all done by 11, or so. I didn't have any trouble with math—which was nice!
The other job this morning (besides doing school, making lunch, and washing laundry) was frying the puffballs we got yesterday. We were all done by lunch time—which was at 2 o'clock—having diced and fried the bigger puffball to go in the freezer and breaded the other (smaller) one. The breaded puffball turned out okay, fairly burnt, but okay.
While Dad and the boys were finishing up the mushrooms, I made lunch. We had some left over beef roast, and left over baked potatoes, so I diced them up. To that I added 1 quart each of carrots, broth and green beans. I also put about 2 tsp. of salt in, and ½ tsp. of pepper. Cooked up, it was yummy, and we even have left overs for tomorrow!
This afternoon, I worked on writing for JOJ Magazine. It's a lot of fun (once you get into it), and I hope to do more tomorrow. I wrote one about A Living Sacrifice, although I'm not sure that's going to be the permanent name. I'm still waiting for Tiffy to respond. What I did today was just finish of one I started writing for last issue, but never finished. Oops. At least it's done now!
I forgot to say Sunday that one of the highlights of the day was holding Nathan for the first time. His skin is so soft, and he is so cute and lovable... anyway, I was the first of the children to hold him, and Mum allowed me to dress him—his first clothes on ever! It was a memorable experience, to be sure! He's doing well.
Mum didn't feel so well today, hopefully she'll feel better tomorrow! It's probably just the natural way things go. We didn't have prayer meeting tonight.
Well, I should be off to bed.
Goodnight!

It was a coolish/warmish rainy day today (if there can be such a thing). I didn't hold Nathan much because I was too busy—school this morning and a nap and apples and pears this afternoon. It's been a good day.

Felt a lot better today, school got done (not too fast, but done by lunch time). I felt a lot better today, thank you God!

You. Aren't. Telling. Me. That. It's. The. End. Of. March. It. Can't. Be. No. Way. Hosea. I can't believe it—already? That means, Nathan is 6 days old already! HELP!!!
We didn't do too much today. Just cleaning, and all the other stuff.
Nathan's heel got pricked today. It went real fast, (like under 5 minutes or so) and he only cried once—and then sucked harder! The midwife also weighted him—he's gained 7 oz already! In 6 days! WOW. He's growing fast. When she was getting ready to weigh him, she said, “Now, little man, have you regained all the weight you lost?” NOPE, he got more!

Journal has gone down—way down—in a ditch somewhere since Grandma got here. Hopefully we'll have more regular nights from now on, so journaling can be done!
Grandma arrived Monday morning (10:20 AM). After finding our way through the (remodeled) airport, we finally found her at the baggage pick-up. She was dead beat, poor Grandma! After picking her up, we did some shopping in R-------, then went home.
The rest of the week has gone—helter skelter. It's been GREAT to have Grandma here, though!
School has gone fairly well this week, and I'm tired. Goodnight!

Today was nice and warm. Grandma and I took a walk down the road and onto S------- a little ways, that was fun!
This morning, Dad took us in to C------, and we met under the big maple (?) tree in front of the supermarket (4Square). There were only eight people there, so not a big crowd to start out with. When the cross arrived (in the police vehicle, by the way!), everyone cheered, then we walked to the Challenge! station where we had the first reading. Then we walked a little further, and had another reading at the next stop. There were three stops, then we climbed the hill to the Anglican church, and waited at the top for the stragglers. By that time, there were about (I think) 20-25 people. We had a worship service at the church, then came home. It was a good day all together.

Today was nice and warm again! Wonderful!
Cleaning went well today, we all got done fast, then Dad and the boys went out to the garden to dig potatoes for a little while in the North-West patch. Mum and Grandma made lunch, (soup; yum!) and then we all loaded up in the van. Dad drove us all to G--- B--, and we had lunch. Yum! After lunch, the boys changed and headed down to the beach. We all played in the surf for a while, it wasn't too cold after being in there a while. I stayed with Joe, because Mum was watching Nathan up on top. She stayed by the van the whole time. Joe would take a stone or two, run out into the water and play there for a little bit (throwing the stone in the water, of course!), then run back and get more. I had to rescue him several times from waves just a wee bit too big for him, but for the most part he was okay. Dad slept in the shadow of a big rock while we played in the water.
After a while, the boys got cold, so they came out and dug in the sand for a while. We've got nice and sandy clothes drying on the fence again! It's been a nice day.
