Saturday, 14 April 2012

Today was nice—a little drizzly this morning, yes, but still nice. We were busy all day getting ready for “THE” trip. I'm going to enjoy my time right here and now, because I KNOW it will all soon be past, and be only a memory. Praise the LORD that we can have this precious time together as a family! I am SO looking forward to it!

Got back from our trip today. I didn't realize until now what luxury we have in a house to live in! IT'S WONDERFUL!

We left  C------'s (where we camped last night) at about 11:30, and headed home from there. Stopped along the Buller River for lunch, and got HEAPS of sandfly bites.

I have a small headache because of sleeping in the van a lot of the way home. Time for BED!!!!!!

School went okay today. It was the first day of Unit 3 (we're saving Unit 2 for latter), so I had to go through and decide what all I wanted to do this term. It was pretty easy, especially considering that it is a smaller unit than no. 1. I'm glad for something new, though.

What I did for school today:
  1. Read Bible
  2. Did Math
  3. Did Diagramming
  4. Worked on a speech I have left over from the last unit
  5. Read Josephus
  6. Memorized Proverbs 31:27 (well, actually finished memorizing it)
So, overall, today was a good day as far as school.

I didn't get a lot other than school done today, I helped Mum with Nathan some, played a little with my brothers, etc. I'm glad I don't have to milk in the mornings now that Siko [my goat] is dried off; it makes getting up seem so much easier!!! Maybe because it makes me more lazy???

No school today. We worked in the vineyard until 2:30 or so, picking the Pinot grapes. Got 2 tonnes—not near as good as last year.

Prayer meeting was on tonight, Pete & Di and Jane were here (and Grandma, too!). We studied Romans 3. Hardly scratched the surface.

I'm tired. Goodnight!
