I’ve got a question. For anyone who has any sense of what looks good or not.
A while back, I heard that flats look best when worn without socks. Is that true, or not?
I was given this pair of flats to wear at my aunt’s wedding, and I really like them. When I wore them without socks one time, though, someone said, “Did someone forget her socks?” Rather...awkward, to say the least!
So, which way looks better?
This… Or this?
I would wear the shoes with an almost-transparent white nylons to be formal and tan for more casual, or depending on the outfit.

ReplyDeleteWith that pair, you might jussst be able to get away with socks (with a longer skirt).
Although, black opaques/nylons would look a lot better.
I have two unused (still in their packet) knee-high transparent opaques, if you could use them? I would be happy to send them since I have never worn them (or seem to need to.)

ReplyDeleteI have no sense of style whatsoever :) and personally don't like wearing shoes without socks. That being said, however, I know that practically all the girls I know wear flats without socks these days.
ReplyDeleteMy opinion -without, it looks sooo much prettier. Socks and skirts don't always go (most often not) unless they give you blisters... of course :)
