We had the privilege of going on Whale Watch about a month ago.
One of the highlights was seeing dolphins—we found a pod of about 200 Dusky dolphins! That was amazing to watch!
They were really active.
Wow—God is so good to make such amazing animals to see!
It was amazing to watch.
I got a video of some of them jumping.
Some Petrels we saw. (Notice they aren’t diesels, they’re petrels! :) )
A panoramic view of the Kaikoura Peninsula and the Kaikoura mountains (click the picture to view it bigger).
The mountains were just gorgeous in the morning sunlight!
“I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help…” (Psalm 121:1)
One of the crew trying to hear whales using the hydrophone.
After several tries, we finally found a whale! His name was Tutu, and he stayed on the top of the water for several minutes before diving.
We had a majestic view of his back.
This has to be one of my most favourite pictures from the trip.
And there he goes…
…bye, bye, Tutu!
On the way home, we stopped for lunch. After lunch, the boys did memory verses. This is Elijah’s method of doing verses.
The waves were big, and made lots of beautiful spray!
Seth doing verses.
Mum and Nate
The little boys headed down the beach to play.
Mum and Nate went to explore the tide pools, too.
The waves were gorgeous!
Awesome.
Wow.
God’s been really good to us to allow us to see such amazing things. And yes, all those pictures are totally un-edited.
