We are live!

After many months of preparation, you can finally come visit my site!

When I first got the idea for Learning Resource Directory back in October, I never thought it would take this long to complete. But now that that’s passed, and I have most things ready to go, I’m glad to let you know that you can now see what’s been cooking for so many months.

Come visit our home page, or, if you’d like to enter the launch giveaway, you can go directly to that post here. We have quite a few book reviews up already, and a backlog of 50 or 100 more waiting to go up, so keep checking back for new books to read!

Still not sure if Learning Resource Directory is the site for you? Our goal is to assist you in your search for good books—whether for yourself, or for your children. To do that, we’ve tried to pick the best books from our shelves (out of the thousands that we have), reviewed them, written down anything you might want to be warned of before you read it, and then posted them on the site. There’s also a handy search you can use to quickly find books—every book is categorized by age level, genre, historical period, location, and special appeal.
