Ladybugs!

By the way...below I'm talking about food--not an animal! Sorry I didn't make it clear earlier!
No...you really didn't think that I liked ladybugs, did you? In our family, we are allowed to eat ladybugs--but only on Sunday afternoons between 4-5! (because otherwise, we'd go through a jar of peanut butter every day--and we're not close enough to town to be able to do that!) They're so scrumptious, though, that we rarely miss the treat. So here's our version of ladybugs: (and I promise, if you love peanut butter and raisins, you'll absolutely love them!)

Spot the bug?
(this is a treat that anybody can make--I remember making them in the states (on rare occasions), and always loving them!)

LADYBUGS

Ingredients:
  • one apple
  • peanut butter
  • raisins

Directions:
Cut apple in half, core, and spread peanut butter over the outside (or the inside, (or you could do it on both sides!) but in this household we're only allowed it on either or--it uses up too much peanut butter otherwise!). Put plenty of raisins on the peanut butter, (that look like the spots on a ladybug) and enjoy!

Mmmm... *licks lips*

I love this recipe 'cause it's so simple, easy, and YUMMY!

  2. Yes...I didn't get much done as far as posting last week, did I? Tell your Mum happy birthday for me, wontcha?

I think that would've been fun to send them bedbugs--especially with what they were experiencing at that time!

Have you fixed your face? (just guessin'!)

  3. By the way...you might be interested in knowing about something my brothers have been doing lately--we were given a pair of (pink!) high-heeled slippers/jandals. They have been wearing them around the house--it's hilarious! They complain that they don't work that well, but wear them like good soldiers should! It's really funny watching them! :)
